[Review] Detroit News Reviews The New Jeep Liberty

The reviews keep coming in for the new 2008 Jeep Liberty. This time the review is positive, describing the new vehicle as both rugged and versatile. While I am not a fan of most of the Jeep vehicles that are not Wrangler’s, it looks like Jeep has done a good job with this one.

Versatility is a key characteristic for the Liberty. The plastic flares on the trapezoidal wheel wells are removable for off-road purists who fear nicks and gouges. The cargo bay can be arranged for multiple types of content, with optional fold-flat front passenger seat and 60/40 fold-flat rear seats. Moving the spare tire beneath the rear end added 3.3 inches of cargo length.
