Jeep Concept Cars – 2008,

I am going to feature some of the cool new Jeep concept cars coming out of Chrysler in the next few posts. They were all featured at the latest Detroit Auto Show (Jan 08) and will likely be trotted out at most of the upcoming international auto shows. In particular Jeep rolled out three very cool and interesting vehicles of which at least one of them looks like it could see the light of day as it is. A small prelude to the upcoming articles are the pictures and profiles below.

First at bat is the Jeep Gladiator, a Jeep Pickup truck (yes a pickup truck) heralding back to previous Jeep pickup trucks of the 1960’s – this is no ‘rehashing’ an old product as new though, it is thoroughly modern, has funky new styling – Jeep Wrangler up front including a modern interior.

The second up is the Jeep Hurricane – this is concept car has a real ‘show-stopping’ look and features to it – kind of looks like a great big Quad (but WAY Cooler!) Feature-wise – let’s just say, independently turning wheels and TWO Hemi engines are real head-turners!

And finally is the Jeep Renegade Concept car – again, another very cool rendition of an already popular Jeep ‘name’. The Jeep Renegade concept car is a fun, environmentally friendly small two door (slightly bigger than a mini-cooper).
