Today is the day for the unveiling of the new four door Jeep Wrangler. The Detroit Free Press has the news…
DaimlerChrysler and Nissan will introduce four new vehicles that are vital to the success of three of their key brands at the New York auto show today.
The first four-door model of the iconic Jeep Wrangler goes on sale later this year. Called the Wrangler Unlimited, the roomier and more practical model should make Jeep’s most recognizable model appealing to many buyers traditionally shut out by the SUV’s cramped two-door layout.
“It will expand the Wrangler’s customer base,” said Stephanie Brinley, analyst in the Southfield office of consultant AutoPacific.
“Wrangler is the vehicle that Jeep hangs its hat on,” she said. “It’s the source of the idea that if you’ve got a Jeep, you can go anywhere.”
As soon as more more information on the four door Wrangler is released, I will post it.
