After spending some more time contemplating the orange Jeep Rubicon, I decided to go over to Jeep.com to build and price one. Here is the picture that doing that gives you. This is the exact jeep that we saw rolling down the Mass Pike. Isn’t it hot?
In case you haven’t realized, orange is my favorite color. The colors for the 2007 Wrangler have not been announced yet, so I can’t say that orange will be an option, but I would be really disappointed if Jeep did not produce an orange variant of the Wrangler this year. But, even if they do not, it will not stop me from my dream of owning a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, even if it does mean that I will have to own a green Jeep.

I forget when they first rolled out this color, but I know it was a few years ago and I remember my first impression was, “Why would anyone want their Jeep to look the color of cat yuk-up?” That said, it’s grown on me the last few years and I do think it’s a rather attractive color when you get used to it. I don’t understand why the paint option runs extra when you build the Jeep, though — this and the yellow coat are both $150 more.

Orange is my favorite color, especially on the Jeep. The day I first saw my Amber Fire Pearl Coat Wrangler, I just had to have it.
