Jeep will introduce the diesel engine into the 2007 four door Jeep Wrangler. Unfortunately this is only for our friends that live on the otehr side of the pond.
Oh, Jeep aka Daimler Chrysler, why won’t you grace us with the joys of a 2.8 liter diesel engine with 300lb of torque here in the United States? Are we not deserving of a diesel engine, or would it be too tough to make it fit our now looser emissions standards?
The new diesel is likely to be a 2.8-litre unit with 180bhp and around 300lb ft of torque.
I know that if there was a diesel version of the 2007 Jeep Wrangler, enough people would donate so that I too could enjoy and report on my experiences with said 2007 Jeep Wrangler CRD.
